Hello! My name is Carole Honey, proprietor of Silk & Honey. Just to tell you a little about myself - I Have been a fully qualified Holistic and Beauty Therapist since 1996. I have worked with ladies for the past 12 years, helping them look and feel good about themselves.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 at the age of 43 and underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Through my own personal journey of having breast cancer, I realised I still needed to feel feminine and still wear sexy underwear.
I could not find an outlet locally to fulfil my needs and I just needed someone who could relate and understand me during that very difficult time in my life.
So now that I am fit and well again I have opened my own shop. Quite a unique one, being able to offer pretty lingerie side-by-side with healing therapies.
We offer a wide range of pocketed bras, swimwear and prosthesis, which is complemented by an extensive range of fashion lingerie, swimwear, nightwear, hosiery and more, together with a host of holistic treatments including Reflexology, Reiki and Crystal Healing. I'll be hosting several 'Well Woman' themed evenings and will set up a support group in the near future.
Theres never been a better time to treat yourself to something special and allow yourself a little TLC.
