WHERE IS SILK + HONEY MADE?

All of Silk + Honey products are handcrafted in Houston, Texas using both local and internationally sourced natural ingredients, depending on supply resources and seasonal ingredient offerings.

WILL I NEED SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO MAKE THE KITS?

You will need a couple of heatproof glass beakers which you can order online. You’ll also need some ordinary kitchen utensils such as measuring spoons, and a sugar thermometer.

IS IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE THE KITS?

The Silk + Honey kits are easy and fun to make. They contain all the ingredients you need and clear instructions on what to do.

IF I SHOULD MAKE A MISTAKE, COULD A PRODUCT BECOME HARMFUL?

No, All our ingredients are non-toxic and non-irritant to skin and hair. However, using too much or little of an ingredient could affect how your product turns out.

DO SILK + HONEY PRODUCTS CONTAIN ANY CHEMICALS?

NO, Silk + Honey products are natural or made from naturally derived sources which are chemically modified only to enhance their natural properties and to make them useful for cosmetic purposes. Check the ingredient list on each product page to make sure it’s right for you.

ARE SILK + HONEY PRODUCTS VEGAN/GLUTEN FREE?

Yes, our products are vegan and/or gluten-free.Please read the product information before purchasing.     

ONCE THE PRODUCT IS MADE, HOW LONG IS ITS SHELF LIFE?

When made correctly, A Silk + Honey product Under best conditions, is stable and will last well beyond the 12-months-from-making timeline, but we also encourage you to indulge frequently to enjoy the full benefit and highest possible level of nutrients.

DOES SILK + HONEY TEST ON ANIMALS?

We do not test on animals! We love Animals. 

CAN I USE THE PRODUCTS WHILE PREGNANT?

Many of Silk + Honey Products contains essential oils. The key to using essential oils safely during pregnancy is to first consult a trained practitioner. However our lip gloss kits is perfectly safe to use. 

I HAVE A NUT ALLERGY. CAN I USE SILK + HONEY PRODUCTS?

Some of our products contain nut derivatives such as almond oil. You can check the ingredients for each of our products before placing an order.

SHIPPING AND PAYMENT


HOW SOON WILL I GET MY ORDER?

When your order begins its journey to you, you'll receive a shipment confirmation email containing a tracking link.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes, we ship internationally.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We do ask that you allow the specified working days stated above for your order to be delivered. If you have not received your parcel in this time, please kindly check with your local sorting office to see if they are holding the parcel for you. Should they not have your parcel, please contact us at HELLO@SILKANDHONEYCO.UK and we will be happy to assist you further.


CAN I HAVE MY ORDER DELIVERED TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?

If you would like to send orders to more than one address, please place a separate order for each delivery address.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please bear in mind that our order-fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way quickly and efficiently. Therefore, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has been submitted.

IS MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION PROTECTED?

All transactions are secure and encrypted and we don't store any of your payment information.


WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU SUPPORT?

We accept all major credit cards – Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. You can also pay using PayPal.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAP?

We don't currently offer gift wrap, but we're more than happy to include a personal note from you. Just leave us a message with your note in the ‘Instructions to seller’ box at checkout.


WHY SHOULD I REGISTER?

Registering on our website allows you to keep a record of your information. This will save you some time on your next purchase. Also, you will be able to see your past orders and re-order easily by using our 'Favourites' service. You will receive information, newsletters and special offers that are only available to our registered customers.

HOW DO I PURCHASE A SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD?

You can purchase e-gift cards online via our website. All e-gift cards can only be redeemed at Silkandhoney.co.uk E-gift cards are non refundable.

CAN I PURCHASE MULTIPLE E-GIFT CARDS IN ONE TRANSACTION?

Yes, you can. Simply return to the product page, fill in the form and add to cart for each unique e-gift card.

ARE THERE ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD?

No, you will only be charged the amount allocated to the e-gift card.

CAN I CHOOSE THE VALUE OF A E-GIFT I WANT TO PURCHASE?

Yes, you can purchase a $25 or $100 value e-gift card. You can purchase multiple gift cards in one transaction if you’d like the value to be higher. See above for more information.

CAN I CHANGE THE VALUE OF THE E-GIFT CARD AFTER I HAVE PAID FOR IT?

Unfortunately, the value of the e-gift card cannot be changed once the purchase is made.

CAN I BUY A SILK +HONEY E-GIFT CARD FOR MYSELF?

Yes, you can. Simply select the ‘Email to me’ option on the product page, and the gift card will be emailed to the email address entered at checkout. Upon completion of the purchase, the e-gift card will be delivered to your email. Alternatively, if you select email to someone else we will send the e-gift card to that chosen email.


I WANT A PRINTED E-GIFT CARD TO PRESENT TO SOMEONE AS A GIFT. HOW DO I DO THIS? 

Simply select the ‘Email to me’ option on the product page, send the e-gift card to your email and print it once you receive it.

CAN I SEND TWO (OR MORE) SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARDS TO TWO (OR MORE) PEOPLE WHO SHARE AN EMAIL ADDRESS?

Yes, you can. If you want to send separate Silk + Honey e-gift cards to different parties, select the ‘Email to someone else’ option on the product page and indicate their name and email in the recipient’s field. They will receive separate emails advising that you have sent them a Silk + Honey e-gift card.

CAN I SET A SPECIFIC TIME TO SEND THE EMAIL TO THE RECIPIENT?

No, Customers who want to send the email to the recipient at a later date should select the Email to You delivery option at checkout. They can then forward the email or .pdf at the desired time. 

HOW DO I CANCAL THE PURCHASE OF A SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD?

Once the payment is made, an e-gift card purchase cannot be cancelled.

Silk + Honey reserves the right to cancel orders made by unverified and unconfirmed Credit Card accounts.

HOW WILL RETURNS BE HANDLED?

E-Gift cards are non refundable. However please contact Hello@silkandhoney.com if you have any questions.

WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE RECIPIENT RECEIVE WHEN I SEND A SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD?

The recipient receives an email which contains the Silk + Honey e-gift card, along with information such as the e-gift card value, the voucher code and personalized message.

WHEN WOULD THE E-GIFT CARE I PURCHASED ONLINE BE SENT TO THE RECIPIENT?

The e-gift card will be sent to the recipient as soon as the purchase has been made.

WHERE CAN THE SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD BE USED?

Silk + Honey e-gift card can only be used for online purchase at Silkandhoney.co.uk They cannot be used for in store purchases with our retailers.

WHEN DO SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARDS EXPIRE?

Silk + Honey e-gift cards never expire.

CAN I REFUND PURCHASES MADE WITH A GIFT CARD?

Yes, Refunding a purchase made with a gift card adds the refunded amount to the gift card's balance.

HOW DOES THE RECIPIENT CHECK THEIR BALANCE?

The recipient will receive an initial email with the gift card balance. After entering the gift card code at checkout, they'll see the remaining balance if there is any.

HOW CAN I REDEEM A SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD ONLINE?

Step 1: Have your e-gift card email ready, with your voucher code.

Step 2: Add your products to cart at Silkandhoney.co.uk

Step 3: Enter the voucher code from your e-gift card email at checkout.

CAN I MAKE PARTIAL REDEMPTIONS?

No, the total value of the e-gift card will be used for your order.

For example if the total order is $30, and you have a $25 gift card, you will be asked to pay the additional $5.

If your order is $20, and you have a$25 gift card, you will use $20 of the total value and $5 will remain to be used on your next online order.

CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE GIFT CARD ON AN ORDER?

Yes, You can apply multiple gift cards to an order.

HOW DO YOU PREVENT THE EMAIL FROM GETTING LOST AS SPAM?

We adhere to all industry best practices to ensure successful delivery of the Silk + Honey e-gift card via email. However, there is still a chance that the email will be treated as spam or the recipient will not notice it in their inbox. If a spam filter is blocking our emails from getting to an inbox, the recipient’s email options will need to be modified so that our emails are not considered spam.

WHAT IF I LOSE THE SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD?

If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your Silk + Honey e-gift card, contact Customer Service on Hello@silkandhoney.co.uk  immediately. Silk + Honey e-gift card will not be replaced if lost or stolen without the purchaser’s confirmation email as proof of purchase. Silk + Honey e-gift card have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly.

Silk + Honey will not be liable for redeemed Silk + Honey e-gift card if they have been stolen. Please do not display your Silk + Honey e-gift card number online.

WHAT IF SOMEONE MAKES A COPY OF MY PRINTED SILK + HONEY E-GIFT CARD AND USES IT WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION?

We will only send the Silk + Honey e-gift card to the recipient stated upon purchase. You will need to safeguard your Silk + Honey e-gift card as it has a cash value. The value of the Silk + Honey e-gift card is tied to the card number. Once the Silk + Honey e-gift card is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the card. If someone makes a copy of your Silk + Honey e-gift card and redeems the full amount, your Silk + Honey e-gift card will have no value.
